2009欧洲法经济学会年会征文

The 26th Annual Conference of the European Association of Law and Economics (EALE) will be held on September 17-19, 2009 in Rome, Italy.

Those interested in presenting a paper are invited to submit electronically a short abstract (200 words) plus either a copy of the final paper (if already available) or an outline of minimum 4 pagesfollowing the online procedure athttp://www.eale09.eu/

This year we solicit scholars to submit works on the economic analysis of ancient law, with a particular focus on Roman law. Of course the conference selects also original works on all topics realted to law and economics including:

Antitrust and Regulation - Bankruptcy Law - Behavioral Law and Economics - Commercial Law - Comparative Law and Economics - Contract Law - Corporate Law and Corporate Governance - Criminal Law --Environmental law and economics - Experimental Law and Economics - Family Law, Gender, and Discrimination - Health Law -Intellectual Property and Innovation Policy -International Law,International Trade, and Immigration -Labor and Employment Law - Law and Development - Litigation, Dispute Resolution and the Legal Process - Political economy and public choice - Property Law-Public and Administrative Law - Securities Law and Capital Market Regulation - Taxation and Social Welfare - Theory of the Firm (Includes Non-Profits and Government Orgs.) - Tort Law and CompensationSystems.

Emphasis on European systems and institutions is welcome.

Important dates:

1. Submission deadline: April 15, 2009.

2. Comunication of Acceptance: May 15, 2009

3. Early registration by: June 1, 2009

4. Final papers due by: July 15, 2009

The 2009 conference is co-organized by the law and economics groups of Luiss Guido Carli University and the University of Siena.
